éXō Fleets - Data | Insights | Savings
Welcome to the éXō Fleets Podcast - DATA | INSIGHTS | SAVINGS, where we talk about the real challenges and opportunities facing today’s fleet operators, from rising fuel costs and operational pressure to sustainability reporting and the road to electrification.
Each episode gives listeners practical insights into how mixed-fuel, mixed-class and multi-site fleets can use data to make smarter decisions, uncover savings and build a more sustainable future.
We discuss key topics including mixed fleet management software, fleet fuel cost reduction, fleet electrification planning and reducing fleet total cost of ownership, helping fleet managers, finance teams and leadership understand where costs are hidden and where improvements can be made.
Listeners will also hear more about the éXō Fleets 100 Litre Challenge, a practical approach to identifying fuel savings and operational efficiencies, and the Bright Spark Programme, which supports fleets with electrification planning, sustainability reporting, Scope reporting and long-term fleet transformation.
This podcast is designed to give you the data, insights and ideas needed to reduce costs, improve performance and move towards a smarter, cleaner and more sustainable future for your fleet.

éXō Fleets Applauds Transport UK Group’s Shift to Zero Emission Fleet
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
In this episode, we explore how Transport UK Group is setting a powerful example for the transport industry with the rollout of six new Dacia Spring zero emission vehicles at Beddington Garage.
From diesel to electric, this move isn’t just about vehicles, it’s about vision. We discuss how small operational shifts, like electrifying staff ferry transport, can make a big impact on emissions, efficiency, and employee wellbeing.
Join the éXō Fleets team as we unpack what this milestone means for the wider industry, why every journey matters in the decarbonisation race, and how forward-thinking operators are already redefining what fleet modernisation looks like.
Tune in for real insights, real impact, and a reminder that the road to zero starts with every single mile.

At ZeroMission, we’re proud to champion every organisation taking practical steps toward a cleaner, smarter, and more sustainable transport future. The latest move by Transport UK Group, introducing six new Dacia Spring zero emission (ZE) electric “ferry” vehicles at Beddington Garage, is a brilliant example of what fleet modernisation in action looks like.
Replacing diesel with electric isn’t just a symbolic change; it’s a measurable win for emissions, air quality, and operational efficiency. As Fleet and Facilities Director Paul H. shared, this transition is “another innovative and environmentally conscious investment” that aligns perfectly with the company’s sustainability ambitions.
From project management to rollout, the initiative embodies the collaboration that drives successful fleet decarbonisation. Ancillary Vehicle Services Co-ordinator Andrew Moate highlighted how “working with the local engineering and operating teams, plus Renault UK, we identified the Dacia Spring to be both practical and desirable for ferrying colleagues, providing a cleaner environment for our people and the communities we serve.”
This kind of joined up thinking is exactly what the wider transport industry should take note of. By focusing on operational areas beyond mainline fleets, such as staff transport, Transport UK Group is demonstrating that zero emission strategy doesn’t stop at the depot gates. Every journey matters.
Commercial Business Partner Ian Sutton summed it up best: “This is all part of our commitment to lead the way in sustainable transport, an important first step in enabling our drivers to travel to their changeover points in vehicles that support the Mayor of London’s aspirations for a truly clean city.”
At ZeroMission, we believe these smaller but strategic transitions are the building blocks of large scale fleet transformation. Each electric vehicle added to service is another move toward lower emissions, smarter operations, and a more connected transport ecosystem, the very essence of our FleetOps360° philosophy.
Our message to the industry: take note. Fleet sustainability isn’t a one time project; it’s an evolving commitment. And as Transport UK Group’s example shows, the future of logistics and passenger transport is already here, electric, data driven, and built for a cleaner tomorrow.
